At Cross Pointe, we firmly believe that children of all ages have the capacity to learn about the greatness and glory of God. Every Sunday, our church building is transformed into places of fun, learning, and connections! We want to "connect children to God, to each other, and to the world!"

 

 

 

 

 

It all starts with our nursery! We provide cribs, bouncers, swings, and toys for our youngest ones to sleep, sit, eat, and play. We take the safety of your child seriously and we work hard to make sure that our area is clean, safe, and ready to go each Sunday morning! Our nursery is also equipped with an area for nursing mothers as well.

 

 

 

 

 

 

It is amazing how quickly children can move from crawling to walking. Our walkers and toddlers have a room of fun all their own, filled with toys, games, and music. Children in this area learn about God through music, through dance, and even through stories, all geared towards one-year-olds and two-year-olds.

 

 

 

  

 

 

 Preschool (3-5 year-olds)

 

Our preschool group is always on the move! Each week, our incredible teachers and helpers take preschool children on a journey through the Bible, teaching them about how much God loves us and who Jesus really was! Each Sunday, we provide the children arts and crafts, a Bible lesson, plenty of time to play, and snacks. It's always exciting to see the preschoolers smiling widely when they leave on Sunday mornings, already ready to come back next Sunday!

 

 

 

 K2 - Kingdom Kids (Kindergarten - 2nd grade)

 

Our newest group is designed for the most fun age group ever. Our kindergarteners, first graders, and second graders have their own area, filled with action, Bible lessons, and crafts. Each Sunday, they will learn what it means to honor God, to love their family, and to show Jesus' love at school and everywhere else. We're so excited to see this group as it continues to grow up and grow out!

 

 

 

 

Our oldest kids are incredibly special to us! They are at the age when faith is becoming very real to them. They are beginning to read the Bible on their own, ask questions, and live out their faith around them. Each week, we use music, technology, games, and skits to illuminate God's Word and encourage them to memorize Scripture and apply it to their lives.

 

 

A Note to Parents

We are serious about your child’s safety while in our care. In order for us to provide a safe and loving environment for your child, we have developed General and Health Policies for both the Nursery and Jr. Kids Church that can be picked up at church or sent to you via e-mail by contacting Scottat scott@crosspointeocala.org. Adhering to these policies will ensure the safety and well being of your child and others. A big “Thank you!” from our director and our nursery and preschool team!
