One of the greatest things we can do as a church is to share the love of Christ with the community around us. Because we wish to fulfill the Great Commission, we have a number of ministries focused on what happens outside the walls of our church. Our people are also part of a number of ministries with their small groups or individually that are not mentioned here, so be sure to plug in!

 Mission Sunday

Twice a year, our church meets on Sunday at 10:00 a.m. for just
a short time before leaving to spread the good news of Jesus Christ
to places all around the city. We go in groups of 10-12 to places
such as the Arnette House, Steeplechase Apartments,
HOME, Hawthorne Village Retirement Home, and Tuscawilla Park,
to name a few. It's a church "service" you're not going to want to miss! 

 

 

Mission Ocala

Mission Ocala is how we do "Vacation Bible School." Cross Pointe has held day camps in Ocala since 2009, and we will be expanding to two camps in 2012. We have seen almost 500 kids attend in that time and have seen a number of children come to know Jesus!

International Student Ministry

Since 2009, Cross Pointe has "adopted" every single international student
who has attended the College of Central Florida. We have
seen a number of international students get plugged in to Cross Pointe,
our small groups, and even in ministry. God is doing a great
hing in the lives of international students, and we're thrilled that
He's letting us be a part of what He is doing!

 

 

Thanksgiving Baskets

Since Cross Pointe Ocala started, we have been providing Thanksgiving baskets to those who are in need, complete with a turkey, vegetables, stuffing, dessert, and more! We have fed over 1,200 people, showing them God's love in a very practical way!

Ocala Pedal Project

Throughout the year, we are able to provide brand new bicycles and helmets for children and teenagers throughout Marion County who are in need. Through the gifts of some of the families at Cross Pointe, we were able to provide bicycles for all of the foster children staying at a local foster home.

We also partner with a number of local ministries, including the Arnette House, Hands of Mercy Everywhere, the Women's Pregnancy Center, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, and the Salvation Army. Contact us to find out how you can get involved!
